Hendrick’s Gin is the perfect pairing for English cucumbers. This gin & tonic marries the wonderful refreshing flavor of cucumber with the crisp botanicals of Hendrick’s gin.
Our inspiration came from Heston Blumenthal’s recipe for Pimm’s No. 1 Cup.
First of all take a quarter of an English cucumber, wash but don’t remove the skin. We then put it through a juicer.
Combine with half an egg white then whisk to a foam. We did this using our Nespresso frother.
In a glass filled with ice add 2oz. of Hendrick’s Gin then fill the glass 3/4 full of Schweppes tonic. Slowly pour the cucumber foam. Add a few very thin slices of cucumber for garnish and drink!
