Lately we’ve been interested in purchasing wines that have a rating of 90 points or higher. This bottle of St. Michael-Eppan Pinot Grigio received a 90 point rating from Wine Spectator for the 2008 vintage, and although we were enjoying a 2010, it lived up to all of the reviews we read.

Dry and smooth, it had hints of apples and pears. We served this with sea bass although I have read that it also goes very well with grilled chicken, fruit salads or mild cheeses. We paid about $16 for the bottle.
