This is our first fall here in The Finger Lakes and it is just gorgeous. Our kale is going strong and our fingerling potatoes have exceeded all expectations (thanks, Fruition Seeds!). We’ve ordered shallots which we’ve yet to get in the ground – but I’m sure this will be the week. The grapevines (which we’ve no idea how to care for) have produced buckets and buckets of grapes and our little orchard has hundreds of apples yet to be picked. The chipmunks have been enjoying the deadfall. We are looking forward to fire pit evenings with s’mores & hot toddies, blankets and cozy dinners. What are your favorite fall dinners?
